This tutorial is for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 users who have lost the warranty of their device for running cutom builds and wish to go back to the original stock/official firmware. This device has first come up with the Android ICS and was upgraded to Android 4.1.2 later. You can go through our step by step guide to unroot the device.

Steps to unroot Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to stock official firmware

Step 1: Download Android Official Firmware for Galaxy Tab 10.1 from the list according to your region and Odin 3.07 in your computer.

Step 2: Extract Firmware zip file at a convenient location in your desktop; you should get a .tar.md5 file and some other files (optional).

Step 3: Now extract Odin zip file and you will get Odin3 v3.07.exe as well as few other files.

Step 4: Now turn off your phone and wait 5-6 seconds for vibration to confirm complete switch off. Then put your Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down + Home + Power button together until you see a construction Android robot in phone screen. Press Volume Up button again to enter into Download Mode.

Step 5: Now run Odin3 v3.07.exe that you get in Step 3 as an Administrator because Admin privileges is required to complete this installation process smoothly.

Step 6: Now it’s time to connect your Galaxy Tab 10.1 with your PC using USB cable. Do it and you will see a message under Odin’s message box in the bottom left saying “Added!!” If you don’t get it then you should try another USB port (try USB port located in back of your desktop PC cabinet). However, if this still can’t solve your issue then you should reinstall USB driver for your device. Nevertheless, if you successfully see the “Added!!” message in Odin then you are ready to go in next step. You should also see COM port with a number in Yellow if you successfully added your device.

Step 7: Select the files from stock firmware folder that you get in Step 2 in Odin at respective buttons:

Click the PDA Button, and select the .tar.md5 file here with *code* appearing in its name (required)
Click the Phone Button, and select file with *modem* in its name (add it if you only have it in your extracted firmware folder)
Click the CSC Button, and select file with *csc* in its name (add it if you only have it in your extracted firmware folder)
Click the PIT Button, and select the .pit file. (Add it if you only have it in your extracted firmware folder)

Step 8: In Odin window, make sure Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checkboxes are only two that are selected. Also, make sure that Re-Partition checkbox is selected, only when you added a .pit file (see Step 7.4) in ODIN.

Step 9: To make flashing safe for you double check everything that we mentioned in Step 7 and Step 8 above. Now, once you are ready, hit the START button to begin the flashing process.

Step 10: Once installation is done, your phone will reboot automatically and soon you will see a PASS message with green background in the left-most box at the very top of the Odin. You can then safely unplug the USB cable to disconnect your device from computer.

The New Galaxy Note 3 is unveiled now and we have already discussed weather to upgrade your Note 2 to the New Note 3. If you are a serious smartphone user then you might want to think of upgrading it or else just move on with the Note 2 or swap it with some other devices.

Now we are going to discuss about the technical details of these device and what they can offer us.

While looking at the specifications the new Note 3 has many changes added to it. When compared with the Note 2, you will be getting an entire new device on your hand. There are changes from screen size to battery life. Some are major and some are minor but when you add these all up, you will get an entire new device on your hands.

The old Galaxy Note 2 has come up with a 5.5-inch super AMOLED display with a 720p resolution while the new Note 3 is coming with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD resolution and when compared to the Note 2 it got more pixel density thus the image vibarance.

When looking at the design the Note 3 is much more thinner than the previous gen. the Note 2 has came up with a 9.4 mm thickness and the new Note 3 will be coming with 8.4 mm in thickness. The device also got a larger screen compared to the old note 2 so it will look a bit larger, but the comfort level of this device hasn’t changed much.

In the terms of processor, the new Note 3 is coming in two variants- the international one is powered by a 1.9 GHz Octa-core chipset, while the LTE variant is powered with a 2.3 GHz Quad Core Processor.

And the Note 2, it is powered by a 1.6 GHz Quad Core processor.

The complete change in the two devices is its GPU. The Note 3 is powered by an Adreno 330 GPU while the old one got an ARM Mali 400.

In the camera section, the Galaxy Note 3 can capture 4K videos at 2160p resolution, while the 1080p videos can be taken at 60fps, while the Note 2 got an 8MP camera and it can capture a good 1080pixels at 30 fps and no more than that.

The new Note 3 will be coming out with 9 different colour back panels but in the Note 2, it came with only three back panels blue, grey and white.

If you are thinking that, the name of the new version of Android is Key Lime Pie you have it wrong. Google has named the new version of its OS as Android 4.4 KitKat. This total change in name is something that happened all of the sudden. But the planning behind this has taken place between nestle and Google earlier, in march when the world Mobile World congress was in progress, but they have decided to keep it a secret to make the users surprised and unaware of the name that was actually came out.

Google has decided to change this name, when Google’s Sundar Pichai, the head of operations for android felt that the name was not known as a delicacy for many, and thinking that the users need something interesting and commonly known they decided to rename it as KitKat. In an interview with the BBC both companies said that they have not looked upon copyright laws and they just did a co branding together, and the nestle team just took less than an hour to decide to take the mutual deal.

After the deal, they had a meeting at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and finalized the details. After all these events they had managed to keep this private and most of the googler’s didn’t know about it until a new statue of kit Kat was placed in Google headquarters in mountain view.

The name change will ignite a lot of criticism for Google, but they have taken a good decision with the name change, a good marketing technique, Key Lime Pie is not as popular as Kit Kat is eh? Therefore, it will really benefit them. The best thing is that even nestle team have decided to do something “fun and unexpected” and it was not even a “money changing hands kind of deal” but this deal can benefit both of them with out paying each other any money.

Moreover, when the IFA 2013 is kicking off, Google could reveal something huge, and in the post showing the kit Kat statue, it showed an image of a never seen before device capturing the Kit Kat statue. And sometimes it can be the Nexus 5, anyways LG already said that they would not be releasing anything huge in the coming days.

Google already have launched the “Google wallet” app in Android devices, which support NFC technology, now this app has been launched for users who prefers to use iOS devices. However, now with the new fingerprint-scanning feature, has the iPhone 5s now became the world safest phone for mobile transactions?

Using the Google wallet app, users around the world can transfer money to each other or to people who has a valid email address or for the one who simply use this app. Google also has different offers for users using this app, like loyalty cards on the transactions.

By using this app, users can transfer money into a payment terminal, held a few centimetres away, using the app on the phone. This new version of this app does not need an NFC enabled device. NFC or Near Field Communication technology is a technology that allows a payment terminal to identify the device and the owner.

This app got a fraud monitoring system that is working 24×7, and if you lost the phone with the app installed, you can remotely turnoff and disable the Google wallet app by going online and disable it through Google wallet account, this application also needs a four digit password for unlocking the program.

This app is made for people who do not like to carry around money on their wallets and like to go virtual. According to analysts, this app is super secure when using with the iPhone 5s. In addition, this app also gives notification when you send or receive money through this app.

There are mixed reviews with the new security feature that is packed with the new iPhone 5s, there are analysts who look at it as a waste and some are worried about the performance of the device and moreover some are even concerned about the hackers to get inside the phone and recover personal information.

This new feature has got outstanding feed backs from the apple fans, some even swear by it.
