There were several rumours about the Nexus 5 and there was just an image available earlier, but now the whole list of specification and a press shot of the device has been leaked out by the benchmarking website GFXBench. This device is said to be codenamed as hammerhead and the leaked specification is given below.

  • Snapdragon 800 chipset – 2.3GHz Krait 400 cores
  • Android 4.4 KitKat OS
  • Resolution of screen: 1794 x 1080 pixels
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 13-megapixel rear camera
  • No MicroSD card slot.

Leaked Specs and features of LG Nexus 5:

The LG nexus 5 is said to be packed with a 5.2 inch full HD 1080 P OLED Display, and this device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and the multitasking will be managed by a mouth opening 3GB of RAM which is also highly rumoured. This device will be also having an internal memory of 16/32/64 GB options and it is said to be lacking an external SD card slot. In the camera section, the Nexus 5 is rumoured to pack a 16MP rear camera with an ability to record 4K at 30 fps and 1080p quality. And oh! God, the rumours also says that the device will be packing a super huge 3300 mAh of battery to keep this device going.

However, the expected price of this device is $399 / $449 / $499 for 16 / 32 / 64 GB variant. This high price makes sense as the BOM (bill of material) cost for making the above specs laden phone is no more than $249 and if we take a premium of around 100$+ it is looking as if Google will be saving on marketing cost and dealer incentives for selling this device.
