This is the first time that Sony is using the cloud technology for streaming older games and they have made it clear that, there will be only a few handpicked games available at the start and they will add more from time to time. According to the CVG, this service will be available at North America by starting 2014, and there is yet no official news on this service to be launched in Europe and other parts of the world.
In a statement quoted by Yoshida said: “We have to make sure that the game can work through the Internet so we have to go through certification for each title. So we’ll start with a certain number of titles and gradually expand the library,”
PS4 Eye to Get Kinetic-like Features
At Tokyo game show, Masayasu Ito, Senior VP and Business Division president Sony, has finally said why you should buy the PS4 Eye Camera.
With the help of PS4 Eye camera, it enables voice and face recognition, so the new ps4 will be more user friendly, it will be easy to load the games, navigate the OS, and it also allows users to give in-game commands.
Sony still made it clear that the PS4 remains as an accessory, users can choose weather to have it or not, and it wont be effecting the overall experience of the game.
PS4 Android and iOS App Out for November
Sony has made it clear that the Android and iOS app for PS4 will be released soon, because lots of next GEN apps needs a second screen for game play and this time Sony has made this move earlier.
Polygon reports have noted that this app will enable users to have a second screen or game controller by the use of any smart device, we do not know weather it will be available for every game or only in select titles, Sony will officially reveal more details about it in NOV.
