The LG Optimus G E975 can now updated manually from CyanogenMod 10.2 to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. Besides Android 4.3, CyanogenMod 10.2 is offering the most featured rich and customised ROM including customisation options and bloatware free system.
Instructions for Flashing :
Using a USB cable , connect your LG Optimus G E975 to your computer
Copy the Google Apps package and the CyanogenMod 10.2 that you have downloaded and paste them to the SD card of the handset without extracting any of the files.
From the Google Play Store , download the Quick Boot application.
Disconnect your device and reboot it into the recovery mode using the Quick Boot app.
In the recovery mode, first create a Nandroid backup of the current ROM. Then select “backup and restore > backup.” Now , users can restore the saved ROM anytime they desire.
Now , quickly perform a full wipe on your device. Select “wipe data/factory reset” and “wipe cache partition.” Further , Select “advanced -> wipe Dalvik cache.”
Now, for the installation of the CyanogenMod 10.2 custom ROM in your mobile,follow the instructions mentioned. Select “install zip from SD card -> then choose zip from SD card -> then select the CyanogenMod 10.2 firmware which has been copied earlier ->then chose confirm installation.” The same instructions can be followed for installing the Google Apps package .
As soon as the installation in completed , go back to the main menu and then select “reboot system now.”
Now ,your LG Optimus G E975 now runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with CyanogenMod 10.2.
