The CyanogenMod team has now come up with the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based CM10.2 Nightly Build ROM for Motorola Droid RAZR M XT907. This is just an after market custom ROM and not an official firmware by Motorola or Google. This CyanogenMod custom ROM is high on features and has been designed to deliver better performance and reliability than the stock Android. The CyanogenMod team has been rolling out Nightly builds of CM10.2 (all based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean) with new features and customizations. The latest builds of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware based CyanogenMod 10.2 Custom ROMs have been built from the sources of Android Open Source Project (AOSP). Step by step Installation guide for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Based CM10.2 Nightly ROM on Motorola Droid RAZR M

Step 1:

Download the CM10.2 Nightly ROM [Filename: cm-10.2-20130821-NIGHTLY-xt907.zip] and Google Apps [Filename: gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip] using the given link- (http://download.cyanogenmod.org/get/jenkins/38923/cm-10.2-20130821-NIGHTLY-xt907.zip)

Step 2:

Connect your Motorola Droid RAZR M device to the PC via USB cable.

Step 3:

Copy the downloaded zip files to the SD card of your smartphone. Do not extract any file.

Step 4:

Disconnect the USB cable and then switch off your phone after copying the files to the SD card.

Step 5:

Now you need to boot into the Safestrap recovery mode. For doing so, press power button to switch the device on. You will see the Safestrap screen after the Motorola splash screen. The Safestrap screen will show Safestrap Disabled in red, Continue button towards the bottom right hand side and Recovery button towards the bottom left. Tap on the Recovery button to boot into the Safestrap recovery mode. Alternatively you can go for : Recovery Mode without Key Combination.

Step 6:

Don’t forget to perform a Nandroid backup of your existing ROM. This will help you to restore back later in case the new ROM does not works or if you want to go back to your previous ROM. To perform a Nandroid backup, select Backup and Restore. Then, select the Backup option again. After completing the backup process, go back to the main recovery menu.

Step 7:

You need to do some wiping task so as to eliminate a clash between your new ROM and the previous one. For performing the wiping, select the wipe data/factory reset option. On the next screen, select YES to confirm. Wait for the wiping process to be over. It may take a few minutes. Now go back to the CWM recovery main menu. Select wipe cache partition. Once the wiping cache partition process has been completed, select the Wipe Dalvik Cache option under advance options to perform Dalvik cache wiping. Move to the next step after this process is over.

Step 8:

Select install zip from sdcard option. Now select the “choose zip from sdcard” option. Navigate to the cm-10.2-20130821-NIGHTLY-xt907.zip file that you copied in your SD card. Press the Power button th select it. Confirm the installation on the next screen. The ROM installation procedure will now start.

Step 9:

After the ROM installation process is complete, repeat the above step but this time choose gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip file instead of the ROM zip file. This will install the Google apps package.

Step 10:

After this whole process is complete, go to the main recovery menu and select reboot system now. The device will now boot into this new ROM. The first boot may take some time (about 5 minutes)
