The latest ZTUAMF3 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean official firmware update is finally out for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 SM-T310 users. This device features a 8.0” TFT capacitive touchscreen display, supports a 800 x 1280 pixels screen resolution, sports a Dual Core 1.5GHz processor and 1.5GB RAM, 5MP rear camera,1.3MP front camera, supports 64GB external memory via MicroSD, and to top it all, comes preloaded with the latest android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Samsung has started releasing updates in several countries. Recently, Samsung rolled out an OTA update in China about the ZCUAMF5 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean official firmware for Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 T310. The firmware can be updated either by using an OTA update or through Samsung KIES utility feature.

The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 T310 can also be updated manually by following our simple tutorial. Note that we’re using ODIN utitility for this tutorial and thus won’t require a rooted Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 T310 or custom recovery such as CWM recovery . Once the official firmware ZCUAMF5 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is installed, your Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 T310 can always be rooted by a proper rooting method.



Complete Installation Tutorial Of T310ZCUAMF5 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Official Firmware

Step 1:
Download Odin 3.07 and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean T310ZCUAMF5 for Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 T310 to your computer.
Step 2:
When you extract the firmware zip file, you should find a .tar.md5 file and some other files.
Step 3:
Now extract the Odin zip file and make sure that Odin3 v3.07.exe and a few other files are present.
Step 4:
Turn off your phone.(wait to confirm that it has been completely switched off). Then start Download Mode in your Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 T310 by pressing and holding Volume Down + Home + Power buttons together long enough to see a construction Android robot appear on your screen. Press the Volume Up button once more to enter into Download Mode.
Step 5:
Now execute the file ‘Odin3 v3.07.exe’ that you obtained in Step 3. Please note that you may need to run thi file with administrator privileges to ensure a smooth installation.
Step 6:
Now it’s time to connect your PC and Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 T310. As soon as you plug in the USB cable, a message will pop up under Odin’s message box that says “Added”. Try a different USB port if you don’t receive this message. If that doesn’t solve your problem, then maybe you should try reinstalling your USB drivers. You should also see COM port with a number in Yellow if your device has been successfully added. Proceed to the next step only if you see the “Added” message in Odin.
Step 7:
From the I9200ZTUAMF3 folder that you obtained in Step 2, select these files in Odin after clicking the following buttons:
  • After clicking the PDA Button, select the .tar.md5 file with *code* appearing in its name.
  • After clicking the Phone Button, select the file with *modem* in its name (do this only if you find such a file in your extracted folder from Step 2)
  • After clicking the PIT Button, select the .pit file. (do this only if you find such a file in your extracted folder from Step 2)
  • After clicking the CSC Button, select the file with *csc* in its name (do this only if you find such a file in your extracted folder from Step 2)
Step 8:
Make sure that “F. Reset Time” and “Auto Reboot”are the only checkboxes that are selected in your open Odin window. If you’ve added the .pit file, make sure that the “Re-Partition” checkbox is selected too.
Step 9:
Verify that you have carried out steps 1 through 8 properly, and click on the start button to start the process.
Step 10 :
Your phone will reboot itself once installation is complete and you will see a PASS message with green background in Odin. Now you may safely disconnect your device from your computer.
