The time has finally come for all those Nexus 4 users who were anxiously waiting for the next update of Jellybean to finally apply the update to their smartphone. This update has been dubbed as JWR66N. You can update your device to this new release manually because the update is not yet available for all devices. The update has been pushed to the international version but it will be available to all other devices very soon. We have given below the quick requirement list that you have to follow before we advance to the main instructions on the next page on how to update the device.

Procedure to Update NEXUS 4 with Official Jellybean 4.3 Firmware:

Click here to download the Jellybean 4.3 Android Package for Nexus 4. After downloading, transfer the file to your Nexus 4 smartphone.
After that, disconnect the device from your PC and download the “ROM Manager” application from the PLAY Store. Set the phone in recovery mode after doing so. Once in recovery mode, choose “Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache Partition”. To make sure that all the cache data is wiped off, select “advanced” and wipe of the Dalvik cache as well.
Choose the option ”install zip from sd card” and then select the Jellybean 4.3 file that you transferred to your phone. After selecting that, you have to press the power button to confirm your action.
In around 3-4 minutes the update will be installed and after that is done the device will come back to Recovery mode. In recovery mode, choose “reboot system now” to reboot the device in the normal mode.
