How to Manually Update Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean XXUAMF3 Firmware on Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 S7270

You can also update using Samsung KIES. In case both the above mentioned ways won’t work, you can update your Galaxy Ace 3 S7270 to the latest XXUAMR3 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean manually by following our tutorials. In these tutorials we have used ODIN utility, so there won’t be any requirement of custom recovery like CWM recovery or a rooted device. After updating your Galaxy Ace 3 S7270, you can root it by using a proper rooting method.

Tutorial for installing XXUAMF3 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Firmware:

Download Odin 3.07 and XXUAMF3 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for Galaxy Ace 3 S7270 to your computer.
Extract the downloaded zip file and you will get a .tar.md5 file along with some other files
Extract the Odin zip file and you will get Odin 3.07.exe file along with some other files.
Switch off your phone. Now hold Home + Power button + volume down button together. This will put your Galaxy Ace 3 S7270 in download mode. Now you should see a robot on your screen. Again press volume up button to put your phone in ‘download mode’.
Run Odin3v 3.07.exe as an Administrator. (administrator privileges are required for a proper installation)
Now connect your Galaxy Ace 3 S7270 to your PC using a USB cable. It will show a message box at the bottom left which says “ADDED!!” If this doesn’t work then there may be some problem with your USB cable port or USB drivers. Once you see the “ADDED!!” message in Odin, proceed to the next step.
Now select the files you obtained in step 2 from the ‘S7270XXUAMF3′ folder.
Now click the PDA button, and select that .tar.md5 file in which *code* appears in the file name (required)
Now click the phone button, and select that file whose name contains *modem* and add it if it is there in your extracted firmware folder.
Now click the CSC button, and select that file whose name contains *csc* and add it if it is there in your extracted firmware folder
Now click the PIT button, and select the .pit file if it is in your extracted firmware folder.
Make sure that F.Reset and Auto Reboot checkboxes are the only two selected in Odin window and also that Re-Partition checkbox is selected only if you’ve added the .pit file in ODIN.
You should double check steps 7 and 8 before the beginning of flashing process. Once you are ready, press the START button. This will begin your flashing process
Your phone will automatically reboot once the installation is done and you will see a PASS message with a green background at the top of Odin in left-most box. Now you can unplug the USB cable.
