New Toshiba Tablets Excite Pure, Excite Pro and Excite Write Prices and Specs

All have 10.1-inch displays, all are plastic, all have the very same ports and all operate Android 4.2, yet the similarities stop there.
The Pure (so called due to its near-stock Android skin) is the cheapest of the lot at $299.99 (around UK 195, AU$ 307). While it shorts of a back camera, the slate has 1.2 MP front snapper, a Tegra 3 chip and a 1280 x 800 screen encased in Gorilla Glass 1. It sets at 16GB of internal storage, though features a microSD slot machine, equally as, you suspected, all the others.
Continuing on the Toshiba tablet trail we involve the Excite Pro, a $499.99 slate that does have a Tegra 4 CPU from Nvidia, 32GB of storeroom and a Gorilla Glass 2 screen setting at 2560 x 1600.
There are 300 ppi in the Pro’s display, which should show pictures taken with the 8MP on the back or 1.2 MP front camera crisply enough. A key-board instance is an option for the Pure, however as Engadget noted it can technically be utilized with some of the tablets as each shares the very same physique.
Lastly, the Excite Write includes the evident – a pressure-sensitive Wacom digitizer one could scribble around in the pre-loaded TruNote and TruCapture applications. At $599.99 the Write shares practically every little thing with the Pro spec-wise, also to the screen resolution.
Exactly what’s intriguing is that the Write is gunning for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, though naturally we’ll need to see exactly how the Write accumulate after a full review.
There seem to be some differences circulating about when the gadgets will certainly be released (we’ve asked Toshiba to clarify) but try to find their landing by following month.
